Depth: Location Visit

Embankment

In this lesson, i need to documenting a trip on the Circle line underground. start in the tube station at embankment, use all my sense to analyses the information i will find on this short trip (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes). example: touch, taste, sight, sound and smell.

I need to consider the changes that happen in every tube carriage. the carriage will be affected by the Density, Decibels, Complexity, Diversity, and Dress custom, Languages spoken, age and position of each person.

Also need to consider when the tube stops what will happen, how long do we stop at each station, is the station above ground or below ground, and what type of advertising is there?

over all of the trip, i found a little bit bored, because i need to sat in the tube about an hour, and non stop to take a notes, but also fun as well, because i can found a lot of different things.

The map should be visually interesting but also informative. At the end we will pasted together throughout the session and creating the full map.

This is the part I need to create from the google map, use only one type and one colour.

This is my final finish work.

Emphasis's Typography

Emphasis's Typography

Workshop outline
Using typography to developing the use of emphasis within a london poem or song, and will be exploring the use space, size and weight within a set shape.

Using various combinations to create a number of visual representations each with a different meaning. Also I have bring a camera with you to record my work in progress.

Brief
To design 5 CD covers to one of the london songs provided using a purely typographical representation of a verse or chorus. put emphasis into your typography using size, space and scale.

Frist, I need to copy the poem or song, choose any part that I like to enlarge. Such as the song from Ralph Mctell's 'Streets Of London' and Lilly Allen's 'LDN'.

I cut out the typography from the paper, and this will be apart of my CD cover.

I cut out the lyrics from the song.
